ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 18 video: Could Hayley’s secrets come back to bite her?

There is another new episode of “Castle” coming your way on Monday night, and this one is going to be a little bit different than some of the others we’ve seen as of late. We’ve seen the entire team work together in some ways in perfect harmony (or at least however much harmony you’re going to get on this show), but on Monday night’s new episode, you could see them struggle more with that after Hayley finds herself at the center of a case.

Not only that, but there could be some evidence suggesting that she even had a part to play.

In the sneak peek below (via TV Guide), you can certainly see a little bit of suspicious behavior from her both before and after examining a crime scene, and we definitely know at this point that she is someone more than capable of keeping secrets for a rather-long stretch of time. We saw her do just that with Rick’s involvement of LokSat.

So why do it here? We hardly think that she is a killer or anything close to it, but she, like anyone else, probably has a past and some things that she would like to keep there. As a result of it, we would not be surprised if it takes her a little while in this particular case to come around and realize that cooperation is best, and the same goes for being okay to let some other people do a little bit of work for her in terms of clearing her name.
