‘Home Fires’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Pat, Marek’s relationship runs into trouble
We wanted to give you the official synopsis for Sunday night’s upcoming episode of “Home Fires” after episode 2 aired, but unfortunately, ITV had not revealed it at that time. Luckily, we are here to now share some of what lies ahead … other than of course the potential bomb scare you saw teased in one of the previews:
“At a dance organised by the Czech soldiers, Joyce gives Sarah some unwelcome advice and Pat has a problem when someone discovers her relationship with Marek. Frances learns that there is much more to Peter’s affair than she realised, while Alison is forced to choose between her loyalty to Frances and her secret work for the police. Steph is increasingly concerned by Stan’s behaviour on the farm, worried about the possible effect on Little Stan. Meanwhile, the Brindsleys receive wonderful news.”
All in all, there is actually a little bit of good news in here for at least one group of characters. As for everyone else, it’s clear that some more devastating times are ahead, and for Pat it is especially a shame given that so little in her life as of late other than this new relationship has worked out particularly well. It’s with that in mind that we hope that there is a chance for her to keep things out of sight and out of mind from most of the town … and especially Bob. We’ve already seen enough evidence of what happens when his temper starts to spiral.
We will have some more news on all things “Home Fires” very soon, so be on the lookout for it!
