‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Homeland,’ ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’ actors to appear

Mistresses -The fourth season of “Mistresses” is coming this summer to ABC, and the show is already working hard to round out most of its supporting and guest cast. You’ve probably heard already about Tia Mowry and Jerry O’Connell joining. With that, the following news should just be icing on the cake.

Per Deadline, former “Homeland” star Navid Neghaban (who played the famed villain Abu Nazir) is going to be appearing across multiple episodes of season 4 as Jonathan Amadi, a successful Persian businessman who likes to work with up-and-coming talent. Based on the description of the character, it definitely seems as though he could be spending some time with Harry, who is trying to further spread his wings as a restauranteur.

Meanwhile, a separate Deadline report claims that Micky Shiloah (“Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”) is going to be appearing on the show as Jonathan’s nephew Reza. For the time being, the only thing that is said in here is that he is a “privileged” character, so we imagine that this will be reflected in some way in his personality.

We’ll have some more news on “Mistresses” presumably as we get closer to the premiere; gone this season is Jennifer Esposito (who played Calista Raines on season 3), and despite the move back to Los Angeles after spending a season filming in Vancouver, it does not appear as though Alyssa Milano is going to be returning as Savi. While the show is not necessarily a ratings monster for ABC in the summer, it does have a loyal following of people who enjoy its wide array of twists and turns.
