‘The Good Wife’ season 7: Julianna Margulies, cast say farewell as series finale films

You have to believe that this week has been an emotional one for some of the people behind the scenes on “The Good Wife.” After all, the series finale has been taping, and this has in turn led to some very emotional posts and messages from some of the cast on social media.

One of the best resources that you can go to for “Good Wife” updates is the official Facebook page for Julianna Margulies, as she has been sharing some photos of the cast on some of their final days filming. She also posted a lengthy message in response from a giant fan gift and here is a quick snippet of it:

“Thank you for all your kind words and good wishes. Thank you for going on this journey with me. I know how lucky I am to have had this opportunity, and I am forever grateful to the Kings for giving me the chance to play such a wonderful role.”

There are many reasons to be sad over the end of “The Good Wife,” given that you more than likely probably love these characters and the legal drama that we’ve had a chance to see over the years. On a macro level, one of the saddest things to come from the show ending is that this has perennially been one of the few network shows to stand a chance in the awards race against many cable dramas. Without it around, are we going to see some of these other network shows really even stand that much of a chance?
