‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ spoilers: Switch-Up pairings for Nyle DiMarco, Ginger Zee, more

Ginger -

Maybe there are some out there who really like the Switch-Up as a twist on “Dancing with the Stars,” but for us personally, we gotta say that we hate it. Much of the show for us is about the narrative of a Star and a pro coming together to try to create something beautiful, and it takes away somewhat from the bond that they have if you have them trading places with someone else, even if it is for just a week.

Regardless of how we feel about this, it really doesn’t change the fact that it’s still coming up Monday night, and we do know who some of the pairings are going to be. Take a look below.

Wanya Morris – Switched from Lindsay Arnold to Witney Carson. Witney and Lindsay are really close friends. Not a huge change here.

Von Miller – Switched from Witney Carson to Lindsay Arnold. See above.

Paige VanSant – Switched from Mark Ballas to Sasha Farber. This should be a fun test for Sasha, since he hasn’t been paired up too much with a favorite.

Nyle DiMarco – Switched from Peta Murgatroyd to Sharna Burgess. This is the biggest challenge of the entire group, since Peta had come up with a specific way of teaching for him.

Kim Fields – Switched from Sasha Farber to Keo Motsepe. Keo was seemingly in some danger with Jodie.

Jodie Sweetin – Switched from Keo Motsepe to Val Chmerkovskiy. This is definitely going to be a change in teaching style.

Doug Flutie – Switched from Karina Smirnoff to Peta Murgatroyd. Doug needs some sort of spark to get his scores going in the right direction.

Antonio Brown – Switched from Sharna Burgess to Karina Smirnoff. Karina’s worked with a ton of athletes (Doug included), so this should work fine.

Ginger Zee – Switched from Val Chmerkovskiy to Mark Ballas. Mark’s really creative, so let’s see what he comes up with for her.

For those new to the show, the Star that is eliminated Monday will be sent home with their original pro, and then the pairings will go back to normal the next week.
