MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 5, episode 18 preview: Could Jenna exploit Matty for her job?

We’ve seen Jenna on “Awkward” start to mend things when it comes to her relationship with Matty, so is that something that we could see continue moving into the next new episode of the show? Based on some of the first details that we’ve got below (via TV Guide), it looks like there could be a stumbling block coming in to mess things up:

“Jenna and Matty continue to renew their friendship by tossing a party for Jake, but an Idea Bin post by Jenna threatens to unravel it all.”

Specifically, we know that Jenna is going to land in some trouble at her summer fellowship job for being unable to produce a lack of quality material for them. Other than a collaboration with Tamara, nothing else has really made it onto the website in a way that generated a lot of attention. Therefore, she could be doing the Taylor Swift thing and looking towards her own relationship history for inspiration. She may find it, but in turn, this may look like serious trouble for what was a blossoming friendship.

Also, Jenna’s gotta work on establishing some sort of rules and regulations here for the rest of her career as a writer, provided that she is going to go down this path forever. Take, for example, some other people in her life. Are they going to be fair game for pieces down the line as well if she is running short on ideas?
