‘Blindspot’ episode 18 preview: A game-changer awaits Jaimie Alexander, cast
Here’s a philosophical question for you: How many times can “Blindspot” claim to have the biggest episode of the season? While it’s not necessarily something that we hear Ominous NBC Narrator Guy say in every single promo for the show, it is something we hear fairly often.
Is this episode going to be a little more focused on Jane? We certainly hope so, since Jaimie Alexander’s character is the focal point of the show, and without her we’re not sure everything else structurally works in the long-term. Don’t get us wrong — the Patterson story Monday night was interesting, specifically in how she almost got herself in the same position that David did; yet, it’s time to move on, and focus on something that could put some other characters in an extremely dangerous position.
Take a look at the synopsis below for some more details, including one of Jane’s biggest debates as to whether or not she should trust Oscar, someone from her past, or someone from her present in Weller:
“In order to capture a dangerous international criminal, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) are forced to collaborate with the only person he will meet: their former target, Rich DotCom (guest star Ennis Esmer). Jane must decide whether to risk hurting Weller by executing a morally questionable order from Oscar (guest star Francois Arnaud).”
There are a few more episodes to go this season before the finale, so who knows? Hopefully after this episode wraps we’ll get a chance to see the aftermath of Jane’s choice play out.
