‘Better Call Saul’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Jimmy McGill goes back to school

Better Call Saul season 2There is a new episode of “Better Call Saul” arriving to AMC in just one day’s time, and on this episode (entitled “Nailed”), our hero is going to continue to do everything he can to get some footage together for what we presume is his new firm … using of course some less-than-approved means in order to make that happened.

Last week, this included Jimmy bringing along Fudge to stand in front of Fifi, a move that produced some hilarious results if nothing else. On Monday night, he opts to get some footage out at the flagpole in front of an elementary school. The problem here is that if there is one place in particular that is protective of their property, it’s a school. Do you really want Jimmy pulling stunts in front of kids? This is definitely not someone we’d classify as a good influence for young impressionable minds.

You can see some of this play out in the sneak peek below via Yahoo! TV, as Jimmy tries to construct a massive lie about filming a documentary at this school, and how a certain singer once attended during his formative years. Thanks to a few quick remarks, it’s possible that this passes the smell-test.

As for whether or not Jimmy really should be more prepared for these situations rather than making some casual mistakes, that is ultimately an entirely different story. (Shouldn’t he have come up with a lie earlier?) We’ll have a little more insight when it comes to this episode Monday night, so make sure you stay tuned.
