‘Quantico’ episode 17 video: Alex and Ryan try to solve Columbia mystery
Why are there so many jumps in time? Why don’t Alex and Ryan just figure out where they stand already? What was stolen from the Columbia laboratory? These are some of the questions that are at the center of Sunday night’s all-new episode of “Quantico” (at least some of them — this show has a lot of questions), and based on the sneak peek below, we’re at least going to see a pressing discussion on the latter.
Simon and Alex at this point realize that they are clearly working on a race against time to figure out either the terrorist’s identity, or at least what they want. This is the last mission, and once this is over, who knows if they will ever be bothered again? Also, who knows if they will actually still be alive? It feels like we’re all putting a lot of stock in the notion that this terrorist is not going to just barge in and start killing people because … oh, that is what terrorists do the majority of the time!
Unfortunately, other than the location of the theft, these two don’t have a lot of information to grasp onto. Also, they’ve also got Ryan super suspicious of them and worried that they are going to ruin the FBI brand. It’s almost like he is the fast-food manager upset about people getting drunk and throwing bottles in the parking lot while still in uniform. (We really just wish that Ryan and Alex just had at least one normal conversation, given that we are pretty confident that would help to patch things right up and he’d be more on Team Stop the Terrorists At All Costs.)
We will have a full review for this episode come tomorrow. Until then, we plan on firmly holding on to the delusion that the future timeline a.k.a. the one we care about is the only one in this episode.
