‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 19 video: McGarrett and Grover’s breakfast turns scary

At first, the sneak peek that we have for you below from Friday night’s new “Hawaii Five-0” episode suggests one thing more than anything else: A nice, funny breakfast between McGarrett and Grover, one where there is only tension over the fact that Steve is using his friend’s money in order to pay for it. That’s a clever little bit of trickery on his part, since Grover thought for a minute or two that he was actually going to get out of this meal without having to pay for it.

Unfortunately, things take a very sinister turn on this peek when at about the halfway point, McGarrett witnesses some sort of heated argument going down between Grover and someone outside, and when he rushes out to help, he finds that the two men are gone.

So what in the world really happened here? It’s certainly justified that these questions would be asked, and for now the only clear answer seems to be that Grover is quickly going on the run. We know from promotional details for this episode that an old mob boss may have found him and is looking to settle a score; as a result of that, we could be seeing this character do almost everything that he can to hide out and keep his family safe. We certainly do not blame him, so hopefully this episode will have a happy ending when the dust settles.

After all, we certainly cannot handle the idea of this story ending precisely where it is right now. That’s a little too depressing even for a show where bad things happen.
