‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 19 preview: Danny presses Baez on her past
Friday night’s new episode of “Blue Bloods” is just about upon us, and based on the sneak peek below, it may be safe to say that this one is entitled “Blast for a Past” for a reason. We’re getting to know a little bit more about Baez, and there are certainly concerns as to whether or not her romantic history with someone on a case could end up causing her to struggle to work it in an unbiased fashion.
The sneak peek below features Danny pressing her on the subject the moment that he realizes she is showing some unusual behavior on a case, and at least first, she is rather cautious to really admit it. In the end, though, she makes it very clear to him that she is not stepping down from this case under any circumstance, so he just better prepare for the fact that he is going to be working with her despite whatever personal history may be there.
This story is going to be interesting to us, especially since Baez is one of those characters we are still looking forward to getting to know a little bit better. We haven’t really had too much of an opportunity to see that much of her romantic history on the show, but then again romance is not really a subject broached all that often here. Just remember for a minute that the show still hasn’t figured out what it wants to do in the long-term when it comes to Jamie and Eddie.

I was totally disturbed on part of this episode. I usually love the show but these producers let me down and I think it sent a wrong message. If any hadn’t seen it the commissioner won’t promote a cop after 14 great years after 911 because of a shooting incident he and fellow officers had. Supposedly it was an accident since it was a dark room and the victim was going in his pocket and the officers thought it was a gun. He died. So the commissioner won’t make this officer a sergeant because he is afraid of backlash from the media and civil rights groups since the victim was a Muslim. He is worried about the other officers and basically wants to ship this officer out of town if he wants a promotion. What a disgrace by these producers. So we are now in fear and are controlled by groups. Man did this episode hit a nerve with me. Hopefully it hit others.
