‘Shark Tank’ video: Trobo attempts to help children learn math, science

Shark Tank -There are some products on “Shark Tank” that you like almost from the very moment in which they are introduced, and we are somewhat convinced at the moment that Trobo is one of these said products. It’s an interactive way to help parents get children engaged at an extremely early age in all things STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), and have it happen in a way that is fun and interactive. It’s even personalized!

Basically, this reminds us of many children’s computer games that are out there, or even something like “Reading Rainbow” since it encourages reading, as well. You connect it to your phone or tablet, and then some of the games officially begin.

In theory, we think this is really great, and if it is done properly, it could make a lot of money and be useful to parents. However, we do think that the narration on the game needs to be far more energetic than it is, and some of the overall designs could use a little bit of work still.

With all of this said, we really think that there is one of the best critics in the world in the Tank for this in Kevin O’Leary, since he made a significant amount of money earlier in his career in this particular industry. He should be able to point out the good and bad with this company really better than we ever could, so we are excited to see what happens with that in mind.
