‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: Full details on Jared Padalecki – Jensen Ackles story in ‘The Chitters’

The bad news for all fans of “Supernatural” is, at the moment, rather simple: There’s not another new episode of the show airing until Wednesday, April 27. This is when you’re going to get “The Chitters,” which has the makings of being a strange, weird, wacky, and yet thoroughly entertaining episode of the show. There’s a lot to like here just from a monster-of-the-week perspective, even if there’s not really any evidence based on the synopsis below that Amara is going to have much a role in anything (she’s obviously too busy right now finding a way to summon God):

“In a small town in Colorado, mysterious disappearances happen every 27 years. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) head to the town to investigate and meet two hunters who have a personal vendetta against these once-in-a-generation monsters.”

What we like about this concept is mostly that it suggests that we’re going to have some sort of small-town legend, which are always fun to see play out when it comes to mythology. We’ll never complain about getting these sort of stories in particular, mostly because they’re emphasizing fun more than anything else. We really don’t think that there is going to be anything overtly creepy or sinister about this story, and it should just be enjoyable for those out there who like “Supernatural” when it’s got witty dialogue and fun battle sequences of man versus monster.

Also, those of you worried more about Amara and all of that need not worry, since that story will almost surely surface in the near future.
