Ratings: ‘NCIS’ season 13 wins on otherwise miserable night

NCIS -What in the world is happening to Tuesday-night ratings? There were times when there were at least a few hit shows here and there, but now it’s feeling more and more like a wasteland … especially when “The Flash” is off the radar. (It’s not that the CW series is a ratings warrior in its own right or anything — it just looks better compared to some of this competition.)

The good news – Is there any? Well, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was steady with a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, though that’s not exactly a number that you should write home about and celebrate.

The bad news – Hey “NCIS” did win the night! It continues to cling to that 2.0 rating in the demo. However, this is still a drop from the most-recent episode, and it is far from the only decline that we have to talk about on the night.

Without a new episode of “The Voice” helping it out (there was a recap show instead), both “Chicago Med” (1.5) and “Chicago Fire” (1.6) fell from their most-recent installments, while “Agents of SHIELD” (0.9) continues to struggle. For some reason a rather big chunk of viewers left over this past hiatus, and many of them never came back for whatever reason.

Of course, we also saw a big drop for “iZombie” down to a series-low 0.4 since “The Flash” was not on the air last night. Luckily, the show has already been renewed for another season, and we personally feel like it is going to recover just fine.
