‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: ‘Teen Wolf,’ ‘Switched at Birth’ alum Gilles Marini books spot

Fresh off of a scary role as the Beast of Gevaudan on “Teen Wolf” season 5, Gilles Marini is taking on a change of pace over on Fox’s “Bones.”

According to a new report from TVLine, Gilles Marini (whose other credits include “Brothers & Sisters,” “Switched at Birth,” and two stints on “Dancing with the Stars”) will be guest-starring on an upcoming episode as a French descendant of the country’s royalty. He also has a connection to a murder victim in a case Booth and Brennan are working hard to resolve.

We do understand that it has been a long time since “Bones” aired new episodes on Fox, but the good news is that we’re almost to the end of the hiatus now! The show returns a week from Thursday with new episodes, and it’s going to air from there the rest of the spring. For one reason or another, the series just has a tendency to go late in the season as of late; blame Fox and their super-long hiatuses for it at this point.

The great news is that there’s no reason to worry at least about season 11 being the show’s last — it’s already been renewed for a twelfth season, with the sad news being that this will mark the last year for the show. We figure that we’ll have plenty of news to talk about that in the future, so for now let’s just be happy that the show is coming back to the air soon!
