‘Better Call Saul’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Will Jimmy, Chuck keep things together?

“Better Call Saul” on Monday night brought us hopefulness and hopelessness when it comes to the character of Jimmy McGill, who was desperate to make his new arrangement with Kim Wexler work. Unfortunately for him, there were some matters beyond his control that managed to get in the way of the proceedings. Kim ended up losing Mesa Verde, and client she wanted to launch her career around was gone.

So where do we go from here on “Nailed” next week? The synopsis below (via TV Guide) offers up a few more details regarding what is coming up:

“Mike is methodical in his mission; and Chuck’s capabilities are called into question. Meanwhile, Jimmy is suddenly faced with a very personal dilemma.”

Chuck’s problems come not in how he handles meetings; instead, it is what seems to happen to him the moment that they are over. After all, he was functional during the pitch to Mesa Verde, and it was only after that things started to go awry.

The preview below also suggests that there are plenty of other things that could go awry in this upcoming episode between Jimmy and Kim, since Chuck may have found another way to try to mess things up between the two of them, as well. Nobody likes to meddle quite like him, and he’s in our head starting to hit his peak of causing problems for others … even though we are pretty darn sure that he has plenty of problems all his own.
