‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 15 video: Hive, Malick have a sit-down

Come Tuesday night on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” we’re going to have an opportunity like no other to see Hive in action. We certainly know that he can be ruthless, and he’s finally starting to get his wits about him on this earth.

The sneak peek below is in many ways both awesome and creepy. First, Brett Dalton’s character is dressed almost as if he is Neo from “The Matrix,” and that is rather interesting in its own right. From there, we also hear Malick give a little bit of backstory as to why he wanted the alien there in the first place: It’s all thanks to prophecy, his family history, and a belief that big things will befall him if he is to go about this the right way.

This is where things start to get interesting, since we’re not sure Hive going on and on about “power” is really going to be what Malick wants to hear in this particular moment. Instead, he may be more transfixed on a promise for some sort of collaboration.

Who knows? Maybe these two are destined to work together in a greater capacity this season … or maybe one is destined to stab the other in the back. After watching this, it’s hard to not feel that this relationship is going to be completely smooth sailing. There has to be some surprising bumps in the road, and devastating consequences to go along with it. We’ll be back with more on this tomorrow in our latest episode review.
