‘The Walking Dead’ season 7: Premiere date speculation and more for Andrew Lincoln – AMC drama

twdTonight marks the season finale of “The Walking Dead,” but as almost everyone out there surely knows that there is so much more of the story still to tell.

AMC renewed the show for a seventh season all the way back in fall, but we’re not necessarily sure that the episode count was released along with it. For now, we’re at least assuming that there are 16 episodes, given that this is the same order that we’ve seen for the past several seasons or so. Given that “Fear the Walking Dead” now has a longer order of its own, and it is airing new episodes in batches, as well, it is still to be seen precisely how all of this is going to ultimately sort itself out in the end. For the time being, go ahead and pencil in October as the premiere month for the show unless something crazy happens along the way.

As for some other scoop regarding what lies ahead, of course you are going to see much more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, presumably as a regular for the seventh season. Negan is a huge part of the comics, so it would be rather depressing for the show to introduce the character only to not really use him in any sort of meaningful way.

We imagine that there’ll be a little bit more news regarding the seventh season, including a wide array of other scoop, during both “Talking Dead” and in interviews after the show airs. Be on the lookout for more scoop!
