ACM Awards 2016: Where to watch / live stream red-carpet pre-show
For those of you who are excited for the Academy of Country Music Awards tonight on CBS, we’ve got something for you now that is hopefully going to aid you in your watching experience: A proper place to live stream the red carpet coverage.
The awards show has basically set up a “backstage” live stream that should capture everything from the red carpet before the show to some fun moments behind the scenes during it, and you can check it out over at the link here! There is no official time listed for when the stream begins, but we would check back between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Eastern there to see. Typically, these streams tend to start up two or three hours before the actual show begins.
As for the show itself, some of the announced performers include the likes of Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam,Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Charles Kelley, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton with Katy Perry,Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope,Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town and Old Dominion.
The majority of these ACM shows are a combination of everything that you want from your county-music awards show, in between some noteworthy performances, fun presentations, trophies (of course), and some humor spread out here and there. There are more or less a thousand country music awards shows out there (of course, we’re exaggerating somewhat), but this is one that we do consider very much to be the cream of the crop, and head and shoulders better than many of the others.
We’ll have some other coverage of the ACM Awards a little bit later in the night over at the link here. Be sure to check back soon for some further updates!
