‘Arrow’ season 4, and the tiniest of finale teases

Arrow -Arrow” is gearing up for what may be the most important episode of the season, and possibly the entire series, so far in “Eleven-Fifty-Nine” on Wednesday night. If you’ve missed some of the teasers that are out there right now, most of them suggest that this could be the hour where we finally lose a beloved character. This has been hinted at for some time, and we could be closer to the event coming to fruition.

We figure that we’re going to have a whole lot more when it comes to news on this episode over time … but for now, how about some verification that season 4 is officially all wrapped up when it comes to the scripts? The photo below from executive producer Marc Guggenheim is further proof of that, though in it you don’t exactly get a whole lot in the way of news about how the story of Damien Darhk (presuming that he is only a villain this season) wraps up.

If we had our own personal say regarding where season 4 should go, it’d be a direction that brings back two of the biggest villains into the spotlight: Malcolm Merlyn and Slade Wilson. We’ve certainly been on the journey now that could turn Merlyn into a full-fledged villain once more, given his recent course of actions and his desire for revenge on Oliver. Given Thea’s current feelings on him, that could drive him further into madness.

Meanwhile, Manu Bennett has not been on the show since season 3, and while we know he’s been busy with “The Shannara Chronicles,” it’d be nice to see him at least pop up for a few episodes here if that is all he has time for.
