‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: When is the Mouch – Platt wedding taking place?

We have certainly seen quite a few cross-show romances play out over the years on “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago PD,” but at the end of the day, very few of them have ended up leading to the characters actually making it down the altar. There are a few different reasons for that, with one of the biggest ones being the mere fact that it is a logistical challenge. Given that you’re talking about characters on two different shows, there are only so many different occasions where you can pair them up (even in this universe).

Luckily, the producers of these shows have found a way with Mouch and Platt to have it happen, and the photo above (via Entertainment Weekly) is one of the first official shots that we have seen to date of their big ceremony. This will happen during the upcoming “Chicago Fire” episode set to air Tuesday.

As for how many characters could be there, that’s another big challenge since you’re talking about a wide universe. We know that Platt wants Burgess to be in attendance, but beyond that it all remains to be seen. This even comes in the midst of almost perpetual chaos for the two shows, and we hope that it is something that can just be relaxing for the two characters rather than a source of additional stress.

Ultimately, what we’re trying to say is that nothing at the wedding should catch on fire, and nor should there be any criminal activity.
