‘Big Brother Canada 4’ review: Ramsey and the technicolor Veto

Ramsey -Big Brother Canada” tends to as good of a job as possible when it comes to editing together house events into a one-hour show three days a week, there are of course a few things here or there that they miss. They really didn’t do the Nick – Maddy relationship enough justice, but at the same time they did give you a little bit of Maddy and Ramsey tonight … but really left out the part of it where he really wasn’t as interested in her advances as she made it out to be. (Notice that we didn’t get much of a Ramsey confessional on some of this.)

Ramsey did win the Veto tonight in what a pretty hilarious competition complete with rainbow catsuits and a sea monster. Fundamentally, we’ve seen the same sort of Veto so many times before, but it’s always entertaining when someone like Dallas crashes and burns and ends up breaking his own machine in order to win the competition.

As for if we really learned anything about the players tonight, we don’t think so beyond that Cassandra thinks that she is masterminding Tim, while he is more than aware of what she is doing. Meanwhile, Jared and Dallas are keeping up their silly rivalry, not knowing that they could be better off working together in secret, and Mitch is missing being back home. He’s still happy to play the game, but him feeling sad on his birthday is one of the few bits of vulnerability we’ve seen from him.

We were at least hoping that the show would give us some insight into what’s coming next for Loveita and Kelsey tomorrow … but alas, no. What we know is that Maddy is on the block, and could be going home Thursday. Grade: B-.
