NBC’s ‘The Voice’: See Alicia Keys’ son react to new coaching gig
Ever since it was revealed that Alicia Keys was going to be one of the new coaches on the upcoming season of “The Voice,” the “Fallin'” singer had for the most part been fairly quiet about the gig. Yet, at the same time this is clearly a huge cause for celebration! There are only so many people who are chosen for it, and she is a part of the first season since the beginning to actually feature two women on the panel.
In the video below, Keys finally has a response, albeit through her son. It’s cute, celebratory, and it reminds us a little bit of why “The Voice” is so popular: It’s fun entertainment for the whole family first and foremost. Sure, we do understand some of the criticisms out there from people who feel like the show could be doing more to appeal to the artists as future performers in the music industry, but they have to think about entertainment first and foremost.
Speaking of entertainment, Keys will be joined by someone known for getting plenty of headlines next season in Miley Cyrus. We know that she’s polarizing, but we have to say that at the same exact time, we actually feel like Miley did a really good job when it comes to dishing out advice during the Knockout Rounds. If she does that as a coach herself, maybe some concerns out there could eventually be quieted down to a certain extent.
