‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Lost in the Flood’ continues Springsteen tradition

Oliver -

The Bruce Springsteen – “Arrow” episode title tradition is the sort of thing that many hardcore fans of the show have probably heard of already, while more casual viewers may not be completely aware of.

Basically, every season Marc Guggenheim and the other producers / writers name the penultimate episode of the show after a song from the famed singer’s catalog. So far, we’ve had “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” “Streets of Fire,” and “This Is Your Sword.” Now, we’ve got “Lost in the Flood.”

Guggenheim revealed the episode title today as this episode, is going to be going into production. We imagine that this is when the war against Damien Darhk will be at its peak, unless of course the show surprises us and introduces some other sort of villain late into the game, which feels as though it’d be incredibly unlikely based on where we are right now.

As for when you can expect this episode to air, think potentially around May 18. For some reason the network is opting the show to air its finale rather late this year on May 25, which means that we’re going to have some more breaks in the action for the show between now and then.

As for if there is any particular meaning for this title, for the time being we feel like it’s rather hard to pinpoint. The reality here is that the show has many a story it will need to tie up, and we think that this is probably referring to a metaphorical flood more so than a physical one.
