‘All That’ reunion: Amanda Bynes (reportedly) not invited to take part

The Splat -

Late last week, we heard an announcement that definitely got us excited: The cast of “All That” is getting back together for a special on The Splat. Presumably, we imagine that this is going to be a retrospective featuring former cast members Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli, Lori Beth Denberg and Josh Server all looking back at a show that was in many ways a kids’ version of “Saturday Night Live.”

However, there were of course a couple of memorable names missing from the list. One of them was Nick Cannon, but we weren’t too stunned by that given that he really was only on the show for a short period of time, and he found fame more for his own show plus “Wild ‘N Out” over on MTV.

Meanwhile, the other here is Amanda Bynes, who of course went on to become a big star thanks to “The Amanda Show” and some feature films. However, a source close to her tells TMZ that Bynes was not even invited to the reunion … but to be fair, she would not have attended even if she was. She is these days focusing more on a fashion career after being at the center of quite a few different tabloid headlines and being the target of great public scrutiny.

Of course, we’d love to see her back doing something in the field of acting someday, but her personal happiness is first and foremost and if the report is true, then she really should just stick with the career path that will put the biggest smile on her face.
