‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 16 (finale) spoilers: On Andrew Lincoln’s Rick, Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan

twdTonight, the journey of “The Walking Dead” season 6 comes closer to an end with an installment that should set the stage for what will be an eventful (and series-changing) finale next week … and we’re here with some further details all about it.

As you may have heard, this episode is going to run for 90 minutes, which certainly feels appropriate given everything that needs to be done. Not only do you need to resolve some of the storylines that you have seen on the series so far, but there also is going to be a proper introduction to the character of Negan played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. You’ve certainly heard quite a bit about him to date, but this is that real opportunity to actually see the character in the flesh, and understand more of who he is and what he wants.

The synopsis below (via SpoilerTV) for the episode is not entirely descriptive, but at the same time it does give you a pretty good sense of what the overall story is going to be for this big our:

“To save one of their own, Rick’s group must venture outside the walls; their experience changes their lives forever.”

Is somebody gonna die? Most signs point to “likely,” and that is something we’re going to probably speculate so much more on over the course of the coming days, at least to go along with the rest of the internet. With this being one of the biggest TV events in quite some time, there will probably be an avalanche of coverage.
