‘The Night Manager’ season 2: Will it happen? Who wants in?

Tonight on BBC, we are going to see the end of “The Night Manager” as we know it. The ambitious BBC series featuring the likes of Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie has won over many critics and viewers, but like many other short series on the network, all things do come to an end.

With that being said, there is no absolute confirmation just yet that this series is ending for good. There have been talks for weeks now about the show getting a second season, and while nothing is confirmed at present, there are at least some signs that an event like this could be happening.

As a matter of fact, one of the actors aboard the series has suggested that they could be back for another season … provided that she is asked. Speaking per the Mirror, Olivia Colman made the following statement:

“No one has asked me yet … The actors are always the last to know.”

If a second season for the show does happen, fans could still be waiting a while. There’s not much in the way of source material anymore to work from; not only that, but the cast has a variety of other work arrangements that they could end up focusing on in the immediate future. Tom Hiddleston alone is busy on a Benedict Cumberbatch level. Anyway, we’ll have some other news on the subject in the near future, so be on the lookout for some of that and then some.
