‘Faking It’ season 3, episode 3 video: Karma, Amy, and friendship warfare

There has been one common thread so far on “Faking It” season 3, and it has been this: A friendship war between Karma and Amy. In our mind, there is no worse war to have between people than friends, since as it is pointed out in the promo below, they know each other better than anyone. Therefore, there are more ways for them to hurt each other.

At the end of this past episode, Amy clearly felt that Karma deliberately tried to manipulate her by kissing Zita, when in reality Zita forced herself on her in a way to make Liam jealous. From here, there is clearly going to be some more conflict as Amy wants some revenge, and her actions may in turn make some things worse for the two of them. Meanwhile, most of their friends are going to be struggling to try to keep the peace, if that is even possible given where we are right now.

Hopefully, we will see at least some sort of forward movement in the friendship by the time we make it to the end of this episode. As much fun as it may be here and there to see these two characters at odds, we still want to believe that in the end, we’re getting set up for a situation where they can be together if Karma ever comes around on her feelings.
