‘The Voice UK’: The format for Cody Frost, Kevin Simm, top 12 this weekend
For those of you eager to see “The Voice UK” in action this weekend, the wait is almost over! This weekend will feature the top 12 contestants performing live for the first time, and at the end of the night, the field will be narrowed down once more.
As for who are the favorites going into the show, we’d say to watch out for people like Cody Frost, Kevin Simm, and Jordan Gray, who absolutely have a lot of uniqueness to what they do and seemingly already an audience behind them. However, if there’s one thing that we have learned through four years of covering this show, it is that this is an extremely unpredictable race to call; last year was the only time we feel like the winner was somewhat obvious.
For those looking for some answers to some format questions about tonight’s show, know that it will be starting at 7:00 p.m. local time in Britain, and if you are looking for the results, they will be announced starting at 9:05. Thanks to the show airing one day a week, it operates with a little bit of a different format than “The X Factor.” It is actually a little more similar to the live shows of “Britain’s Got Talent,” where they take a brief break and then come back later to reveal the results.
We’ll have more on some of the performances and the results come later this weekend, so be on the lookout for them!
