‘Billions’ episode 10 preview: Wendy, Lara have an awkward conversation

After watching the sneak peek HERE for Sunday night’s new episode of “Billions,” it may be easy to say one thing with a certain degree of confidence: It does not appear as though there is any ice thawing between Chuck Rhoades and Bobby Axelrod’s wives.

The setting here is a funeral, and yet at the same time, these two characters are having an extremely hard time being civil to one another. Lara strongly insinuates that Wendy is not a true part of the Axe Capital family, which leads to some further sneers and comments that are probably playing out in her head.

By the time that we make it to the end of this preview, nothing altogether gets resolved, and that is almost entirely the point because nothing is resolved in the world of the show just yet. Axe and Rhoades remain as steadfast as ever in their pursuits, and it is mostly the execution and the confidence that has changed.

Given that we are extremely near the end of the season at this point, the biggest thing that we can say above all else is rather simple: Be ready for some more crazy stuff to go down. This is not a show that we anticipate going quietly into the night, and nor would we want it to. After all of the buildup that we’ve see to date, we really need to see this momentum build to some sort of a showdown with many core characters all involved.
