‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 15 video: David finds himself in awkward spot with Cruella

While Sunday night’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time” entitled “The Brothers Jones” will (fittingly) largely focus on the characters of Killian and his brother Liam, there are going to be a few other moments in this installment that we have to assume that some fans of Snow and Charming are going to like … even if it is just for the laughs.

Take, for example, a little bit of a role-reversal from a little bit earlier this season when David’s brother James planted a kiss on Snow. In the sneak peek below from Sunday’s episode, we have a chance to see David, right in the middle of an investigation with his wife, have to pretend to be James in order to encourage Cruella de Vil to stay off of the scent of what he is really up to.

We find it totally fun that James and Cruella are together in the Underworld, though we also do have to say here that David really doesn’t do the best job of selling this. We give it maybe two minutes after this sneak peek until Cruelle figures this out and then just goes berserk all over everyone. There’s no way he keeps this stunt going for long.

Regardless of how this particular story ends, can’t we all just celebrate for a moment the fact that we’re getting to see so many familiar faces in the first place? After all, that is one of the many reasons why we’re enjoying this second half of the season so far.
