‘The Walking Dead’ season 6: Finale video offers first glimpse of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan

While the season finale of “The Walking Dead” is not set to air on AMC for more than another week, a leaked international promo (see below) gives you at least a little bit of insight into just what, and who, could be coming in Rick Grimes’ direction moving forward.

Of course, we’re speaking here about none other than Negan. The character, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is among the most-feared characters in the comic books, and while you don’t see his face in the video below, you do hear his voice and see Lucille, the famous bat known for doing some serious damage. We don’t think that this preview spoils anything necessarily from Sunday night’s new episode, hence why we’re fine with sharing it now. After all, we all knew that Negan was coming, and that he was going to have his bat and be someone who could change the entire course of the series. There’s nothing here that really serves as much of a revelation.

What we do know is this: Negan’s arrival leads to one of the most brutal scenes in the comics, and there is definitely an expectation that he will do something similar on the show. As for whether or not he actually will, that remains to be seen … but rest assured that this is something really worth watching out for.
