‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6 spoilers: Michael, Martellus Bennett to guest star
CBS loves to inject a little bit of an NFL presence here and there for some of its shows, and that’s why we’re not altogether surprises that Martellus Bennett and his brother Michael Bennett are both going to be guest-starring on an upcoming “Hawaii Five-0” episode. It’s a little strange that it’s happening outside of football season when CBS could actually use the coverage, but at the same exact time these players are probably busy actually playing the game at that point that they can’t just pop over and do an episode.
You’re going to see the two guys appear on the show’s upcoming April 15 episode entitled “Ka Haunaele” (“Rampage”), which certainly looks as though it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. Just take a look at the attached synopsis right now:
“While Five-0 investigates the theft of a high tech, indestructible suit built for the U.S. military, Jerry helps his sister try to save a captive elephant, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. NFL players and brothers Michael Bennett (Seattle Seahawks) and Martellus Bennett (New England Patriots) guest star as themselves.”
It is going to be nice to have a story that is a little bit more Jerry-centric play out, and we say that as a big fan of Jorge Garcia’s and any chance that he can get to stand out. How, if only we could see a few great Max episodes coming up and we’ll be happy.
The reality here is that the Bennett brothers probably are not going to have a huge part in the hour, at least if this is like some other NFL cameos we’ve seen on other shows. We’ll be shocked if they are present for more than a couple of scenes.
