‘The Walking Dead’ season 6: Don’t read into new Lauren Cohan hairstyle

Just in case you were wondering whether or not Lauren Cohan changing her hairstyle really had any bearing whatsoever on her future on “The Walking Dead,” we come bearing a little bit of advice: Don’t spend too much time thinking about it … really. If you do, odds are that your head could explode much like it did when Andrew Lincoln first started to make some appearances sans beard.

According to TV Guide, this new look is actually going to be a major part of the story for the Maggie character on Sunday night’s new episode. Therefore, if Maggie does for some reason die this season, her hairstyle is not the major reason why.

We do still understand that there is a reason to be nervous for the character, though, given that almost everyone could be in trouble thanks to the arrival of Negan at the end of the season. He is someone with tons of power and charisma, and will likely use it in spades in order to get exactly what he wants done to Rick and his group. Odds are he won’t surface until the finale, but when he does, there is reason for you to be fearful as to almost everyone’s fate.

Now that we’ve said all of this, there is one other thing to also remember here when it comes to Cohan’s recent hair makeover: She could just wear a wig. Therefore, it’s possible that the internet is reading far more into this than they really need to.
