‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 16: Early details on ‘Our Decay’

Well, this certainly is a little bit unusual. “Once Upon a Time” more so than any other show on TV has a habit for making you wait for episode synopses. Usually, they don’t release one for the next episode until a day or two after the previous one ends.

Yet, they are changing that tune somewhat for Friday night’s installment entitled “Our Decay,” and it is somewhat-difficult to understand precisely why, other than that maybe nothing happens on “The Brothers Jones” that constitutes anything below being a spoiler. The biggest thing to note here, at least for now, is that this is going to be an episode that officially bring Zelena back into the fold after being gone for the past few weeks:

“Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin, Henry and Hook continue to search for a way to free everyone from the Underworld. At the mercy of Hades, Gold creates a portal to Storybrooke, which transports Belle, Zelena and Baby Hood to the Underworld. While Zelena and Regina get into a sibling squabble, Belle is reunited with Rumple only to learn some tremendously shocking news that will change her life forever. Meanwhile, Snow and David hopelessly attempt to send a message from the Underworld to their son, Neal. In flashbacks, Hades learns about Zelena’s very special spell and pays her a visit in Oz with the intention of striking an alliance, but finds himself with more than just a partner in crime.”

Wait, is that synopsis trying to make us ‘ship Zelena and Hades? What do we call that … Zades? Halena? We got some time to figure that out. Regardless, this should prove itself to be a fairly interesting our of TV.
