‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: First details on Jonah Hex appearance
It’s been well known for at least a decent stretch of time now that Jonah Hex would be gracing the world of “Legends of Tomorrow” for an upcoming episode, and we’re pretty thrilled now to have some more details all about it!
Hex will be appearing on the upcoming April 14 episode fittingly titled “The Magnificent Eight,” and it turns out that there is a reason why the Legends are going to be heading to the Old West. Also, it turns out that Jonah is already familiar with one of our main characters:
“When the team needs a place to hide out, Rip (Arthur Darvill) sets a course for the Old West. Upon arrival, they start a fight with a gang of outlaws, putting the small town in jeopardy. Luckily, an old friend of Rip’s, Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech), steps in to save them.”
We feel like this story should be a nice bit of fan service, though hopefully along with that there is something in here that progresses the journey along in a linear fashion. One of our larger problems with this season so far is primarily that the majority of the stories have been somewhat-disconnected, and we’ve just seen the team travel to a new place, fight Vandal Savage, and then go somewhere else when they fail to ultimately kill him. It’s made things at least fairly challenging to follow.
Who knows? Maybe this episode will be a way to eventually bring more of Jonah onto the show. Time will tell.
