‘All That’ reunion with Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, others coming to The Splat

The Splat -

When Nickelodeon first announced that they were going to be bringing back some nostalgic programming in new ways, they really weren’t kidding. They’ve announced a new “Hey Arnold!” TV movie entitled “The Jungle Movie,” are making a new version of “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” and they are also now bringing some sort of “All That” reunion show to The Splat, the late-night programming block that tends to air on TeenNick.

The video below is your first look at the reunion, which will feature Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg and Kenan Thompson in some capacity. We imagine that this is going to be mostly a retrospective of sorts rather than something featuring a ton of new sketches. The majority of these cast members were there from the jump, with Tamberelli joining later following a successful stint on “Figure It Out” to go along with “The Adventures of Pete and Pete.”

Would it have been nice to see even more people present? Sure, but this is at least a nice sampling since Server was the longest-tenured cast member, Kenan and Kel are two of the most famous, and Lori Beth had one of the most familiar recurring sketches. We’d say that Amanda Bynes is someone else who clearly owes much of her career to the show, and we would hope that somewhere down the line she would be able to do something to honor it.

Some other notable alumni of the series include Nick Cannon and Gabriel Iglesias, who was on board the show briefly before it went on hiatus. A reboot later aired featuring an entirely different cast.

Does this make you want to go back and watch a bunch of old “Superdude” and “Good Burgers” sketches? Share below, and head over here to get some other TV news on everything we cover, sent right to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: Nick.)
