‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 18: See Shemar Moore’s epic ‘A Beautiful Disaster’ tease
For all fans of “Criminal Minds,” tonight is definitely the night. This is when “A Beautiful Disaster” will air on CBS, and there are questions already about what could unfold with Derek Morgan.
The last we saw the character, there was a shot fired outside while he was in the middle of a discussion with Savannah. Based on the information that is out there already about this, we know that he at least makes it through that … but whether or not he survives the episode itself remains to be seen. It’s possible that we could lose Morgan in this hour, though we are definitely also worried at the same time for Savannah. Given the buildup we’d be surprised if everyone makes their way out of this hour still breathing.
In a post on Instagram (see below), you can see what Shemar Moore himself has to say about what had to be for him a very emotional episode to film. We’ve mentioned this before, but this may be one of the most collaborative episodes of the show that we’ve seen. Matthew Gray Gubler is directing it, while Kirsten Vangsness co-wrote it with showrunner Erica Messer. Clearly, there is going to be a heck of a lot of important stuff that goes down, since many of these people likely chose this episode to work on knowing what was going to be done.
