‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 6, episode 17 review: Brandi Glanville weighs in on drama
Have you been missing some of the glitz and glam of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. Well tonight the ladies will be headed to Dubai and there’s not much else on that level of luxury, but just because everyone will be draped in silk, furs and diamonds doesn’t mean that the drama is going to be left behind in Beverly Hills.
Tonight’s episode was an eye opener for Kyle as she attended a charity event for Lyme disease that Yolanda spoke at. Many people confirmed what Yolanda had been saying this whole time about the disease, and how the fight has it’s good days and bad days, and that two of her children do have the disease (no matter what other’s might be saying about them). Armed with information, Kyle feels so bad about the things that have been said concerning Yolanda and the Munchausen syndrome and she is now 100% team Yolanda.
We also had the ladies head off to Dubai for some rest and relaxation and of course it’s incredibly extravagant, like Erika Girardi bringing her glam squad level extravagant. The hotel has a fish tank wall (complete with a shark) in their room, with rose pedals, and silk drapery everywhere – just stunning. Erika decides to bring up the Lyme disease charity to the ladies saying that Yolanda’s speech included the fact that her children have the disease and that she wishes Lisa Rinna would’ve been there to learn more. Lisa R. still stands by her opinion that something is off about the whole situation with Yolanda, but it really seems that there’s something deeper in Lisa R. and her feelings about Yolanda and that it may not have to do with the disease at all.
With the ladies off in Dubai, Yolanda meets up with Brandi who learns about the Munchausen comment as well as Lisa Rinna being upset about Yolanda having lunch with Brandi and Kim and then later not going to Erika’s party. Of course she has something to say about that and in that moment we realized just how much this show needs Brandi to come back to the show.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had Brandi Glanville on the show and as much as we have loved the addition of Erika (and we can’t say enough how much we love Erika), this show has missed Brandi’s energy. Some of the things she says are just so off the wall that we can’t help but laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. Episode grade: A-
