ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 16 promo: Esposito’s history comes into play
For those of you who are major fans of all things Esposito on “Castle,” know this about next week’s new episode: It’s a chance to actually see him at the center of a story once again!
In the sneak peek below for next week’s “Heartbreaker,” you get some confirmation about how Javi’s history with a certain someone from his past starts to make its way into a case. Specifically, he apparently had a past fling with a potential criminal, and this may complicate an investigation and then some for the NYPD. Then again, at the same exact time this does make things even more fun.
Hopefully, you’ll get a chance by the end of this episode to learn a thing or two more in regards to how this history came out, and what happens when the two of them cross paths. We’re excited about this, and even more to thanks to the presence of Angelica Celaya, who we know well from her role as Jed on “Constantine.”
As for much great of a role this episode is going to have in resolving some sort of long-term mythology for the show, it’s hard to say, but we have a feeling that the writers are really not in too great of a hurry to try and resolve LokSat. They’ve got Castle and Beckett finally working on it together now, so there may not be this tremendous craving to try and resolve it until we are a little bit closer to the finale. For the time being, we’re fine with that provided that some of the episodes to come prove themselves to be entertaining, funny, and in a sort of classic vein.

Esposito has always been a major part of this show, he has been funny and strong. He has always had Kates and Ricks back. I’m glad they have written a episode around his role.

In every synopsis they say ‘Castle and Beckett’ solve this or that but we always end up with 6 min or less of them. I look at my watch every scene they are in knowing they wont/cant get into anything too heavy because time is almost up. I guess thats why they drink instead of talk.
This episode will be no different. She moves back in? We’ll see about 2 minutes of that
