‘The People v. OJ Simpsons: American Crime Story’ episode 8 preview: Jury problems

People -

There is another new episode of “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” coming up on FX Tuesday night, and there is one thing that you should know about this more so than anything else: The jury will be in the spotlight more so than ever before.

These are people who, at least in the early days, may have thought that they were getting a little bit of a vacation from the outside world. They’d get to be a part of one of the biggest cases in modern history, and have some sort of celebrity after the fact. However, at the same time what they have to deal with is so much worse than they ever could have imagined. These are people who were stuck in trial for several months, isolated from most of their friends and family, and not allowed to really see anything from the outside world that could influence their opinion.

Ultimately, let’s just say that this installment is entitled “A Jury in Jail” for a reason. These people are going to feel like prisoners just because they ended up being chosen.

Meanwhile, the preview below also makes it clear that a jury swap is going to cause some other conflict between Marcia Clark and Johnnie Cochran, as it will appear on the surface that this shakeup could end up being in the prosecution’s favor.

We’ll be back tomorrow night with a full review for this installment, so be sure to check back soon for that!
