‘Chicago PD’ exclusive sneak peek: Lindsay, Halstead look for answers over kidnapping
On Wednesday night’s new episode of “Chicago PD” entitled “Kasuall with a K,” Lindsay and Halstead are going to lead the charge in investigating a kidnapping that is definitely far from run-of-the-mill. It’s devastating, and not just in terms of the crime itself, but also due to the woman who was taken and the part of her life she was looking to leave behind.
In the excursive sneak peek below, the two characters speak to the hospitalized owner of a secret women’s shelter, one designed to ensure that women are able to hide away from those who have tormented and abused them and try to take the next step forward in their lives. She did her best to help the woman who has been kidnapped, and here she also does her best to pass along what she can. She tells the two about the potential contents of a safe, one where the women at the shelter leave items on their arrival so that they can move on from the past. In looking through this, it may give further clues about her whereabouts.
As the two leave, Lindsay comments on how women like the shelter owner, who try to do noble things with almost no recognition, are the true heroes as opposed to many of the politicians who get streets named in their honor.
The challenge moving forward for Intelligence in this episode is simple: The identities of the women at the shelter are confidential, and the criminal is still out there. How can you gather evidence without a trail of names?
