‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 16 preview: What’s next for Penguin, Elijah Van Dahl?
On Monday night’s new episode of “Gotham,” Oswald Cobblepot had an opportunity to have a face-to-face encounter with none other than Elijah Van Dahl, a man claiming to be his father. You have to think that this is going to lead into some more “bonding sessions,” and you’ll get a chance to see at least some of that play out on “Wrath of the Villains: Prisoners,” the next new episode of the show airing in one week’s time.
There are some spoilers in here from Monday night’s new episode, so we’d caution you to not read on unless you are ready to have something potentially ruined for you:
“After Gordon is removed from protective custody, he begins to face new threats and dangers inside prison walls. In order to survive, he must rely on a new friend, as well as Bullock and other outside help. Meanwhile, Penguin grows closer to his father, while his step-mother and step-siblings move forward with their own plans for the family.”
Are you excited to see how this will end? We certainly know that we are, but it’s fair to say that there is so much more to this story than there appears at the moment. After all, isn’t this always the case with these sort of situation? As for Gordon, we know that he’ll emerge from this crisis somehow, but you can always expect there to be some complications. When was the last time that we didn’t see something like that?
