‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 13 video: Bobbi and Hunter’s mission

Tuesday night’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD” is going to focus in part on a spy mission, one that sends Bobbi and Hunter halfway around the world in order to figure out just what Gideon Malick is up to.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood’s characters descend upon a power plant where Malick is potentially doing some sort of tests. Given that we know he wants to build some sort of Inhuman army, the possibilities are really limitless when it comes to what he could be up to there. He’s dangerous, and everyone knows it.

With this being said, Phil Coulson is a little bit hesitant at the moment to have these two characters do anything drastic at this particular point in time. Why is that? Think from the vantage point of fear first and foremost. He’s not necessarily being a coward by any means, but he understands that there is very little good that is going to come from having these two kill a member of the World Council while on Russian soil. This is going to do way more harm than good, and SHIELD definitely does not want to be working through that minefield at the moment. There are a variety of other things that the group will be trying to accomplish in the near future that remain the priority.

In the end, there will be other opportunities to take down Malick … unless of course Bobbi and Hunter go rogue and decide to take matters into their own hands before they are really supposed to. In this world, we imagine that both of these are possible in their own way.
