‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2: The variety of zombie threats ahead

The second season of “Fear the Walking Dead” is going to be coming up on AMC next month with new episodes, and there’s going to be a whole lot more of them this time around! Specifically, there are 15 coming up that are going to be split into two halves. We don’t really have too much information just yet as to when the second half is going to start, but we do have a further indicator that even while the characters are at sea in the upcoming episodes, there will be some more trouble that awaits them.

For some other information all about that, just take a look at what executive producer Dave Erickson teased (per The Hollywood Reporter) while at PaleyFest recently:

“[There will be] threats and obstacles on sea and on land … We try to find a place where they can drop anchor and stay. … [But] we don’t know when we first hit the water which direction we’ll go. Strand has some ideas but we don’t know how much we can trust those ideas.”

In many ways, we imagine that this season 2 is going to feel like an early “Walking Dead” season, with many of the characters moving from place to place trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for them and if there is a safe place. We imagine that one of these days, they will find a home similar to Alexandria … but there will probably be a wide array of other problems that find them along the way.
