Dexter: Resurrection season 2 spoilers: New story details revealed!

The hope still remains that Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is going to launch on Showtime this fall and while you wait, why not share a few more details?
Today, we at least received an official synopsis that does an especially-good job of indicating that moving into the next part of the story, you are going to see some fundamental changes. Just go ahead and take a look now: “The second season of ‘Dexter: Resurrection‘ finds Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) caught between two killers — one notorious and the other terrorizing New York in ways no one ever anticipated — all while battling his greatest enemy yet: a mid-life crisis. Harrison (Jack Alcott) continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter.”

Based on the images and teases that are out there at this point for the story, this season is going to feature Harrison Morgan full-on in his police era as he tries to find his brand of justice that way. Meanwhile, the two killers Dexter is after here may be the New York Ripper (referenced in season 1 and played by Brian Cox) and the Five Borough Killer (Dan Stevens). Meanwhile, we know that some familiar faces from the first season will be back in between Charley (Uma Thurman) and then Mia (Krysten Ritter), though it remains to be seen if the latter is alive or just a figment of Dexter’s imagination.
Meanwhile, Desmond Harrington is going to be set for a far bigger role this time around as Joey Quinn — is he going to be able to ensure justice is served after the death of Batista? There are a lot of loose ends there.
