‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 6 video: More on Debbie and Nick; Joe’s interrogation

Debbie -

Given that there are twelve people currently in the game on “Survivor: Kaoh Rong,” we definitely foresee a situation where the merge is coming up following Wednesday night’s new episode. With that in mind, what happens here is going to be incredibly important.

We want to start here by talking potentially about the blue tribe a.k.a. Chan Loh, given that they have an extremely interesting dynamic at the moment given that you’ve got what looks to be three pairs (Debbie / Neal, Michele / Nick, and Jason / Cydney). The latter two are probably the closest of these pairs, but we’re not really sure it matters since we feel like this group may not be going to tribal council anytime soon. Debbie and Neal are puzzle beasts, they’ve got a ton of physical firepower here, and the other tribe may have more weak links. Peter doesn’t communicate super-well with other people, and other than him and Scot, we’re not sure that there are any players on this tribe that can handle the challenges related more to brute strength.

We’re much more concerned at the moment for the yellow tribe Gondol, especially since there is a really interesting strategic situation starting to shake out there. Peter knows that he is at the bottom of the Brains tribe, and as a result of that, if there is a merge at 11 the best thing that he can hope for is being fifth place in that group. If you were to look at the numbers a different way, he could go with Scot, Tai, and Julia to vote out either Aubry or Joe, and then go into a potential merge with those three and then look to see what happens from there. It’d be easy to pick off the remaining three Brains, and he could be a swing vote with one or two other people if the Beauty and Brawn tribes start to do battle.

In the end, it’s all fascinating, and Sunday night’s new episode is probably going to be fun. Ultimately, we’re putting more stock for now in the Peter / Joe conflict as seen in the preview below than Debbie raving about Nick’s appearance.
