‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: A discussion on ‘Monument Point’

“Arrow” is a show that does tend to drop at least a few clues here and there in their episode titles about upcoming storylines, but unfortunately there’s a difference between getting a clue and knowing all the answers.

With that in mind, we bring you now the latest news from executive producer Marc Guggenheim on Twitter: “Monument Point” is the title for the upcoming 21st episode of season 4. What does this mean? The superficial answer to that could be that we’re visiting this town, which has military ties and also happens to be where Roy Harper was living as a mechanic following his departure from what was then Starling City last year. It feels almost like a given that the place would be involved in some shape or form.

In terms more of the story, we would also imagine that Damien Darhk could be more involved than almost ever before at this point, given that we’re nearing the big finale and every indication we’ve been given right now suggests that he is meant to be a season-long villain. You can assume based on the now-infamous cemetery flash-forward that Darhk is probably going to be getting out of jail somehow, and he will have a serious ax to grind as a result thanks to the confrontation that led to him being there in the first place.

Before we conclude, here’s the one thing we find ourselves wondering: If Darhk is really captured, wouldn’t it make the most sense to take him to STAR Labs and not take your chances? It’s what we would do!
