Is ‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 18 new tonight on CBS?

Blue Bloods season 6For all of those who love “Blue Bloods,” we definitely understand if you are brimming over with excitement to see everything else that is coming up this season. Therefore, it’s a little unfortunate that you have to wait for a little while longer.

Thanks to the NCAA Tournament, there is no new installment of the Tom Selleck series airing on CBS Friday night, though we have a feeling that there are plenty of people out there who are rather used to this procedure at this point with the show. It’s something that we have seen play out here time and time again in the month of March, and the only real luxury that comes out of it is the fact that it does mean you’ll be getting some other episodes of the show a little bit later in the spring. It keeps it on the air until May.

Unfortunately, at the moment CBS has not even released synopses for the next two episodes, which is a little bit of an unusual move since they have done so with this show’s Friday-night companion “Hawaii Five-0.” There are at least two themes we do expect to see play out over the course of the coming episodes.

1. Continued tension between the NYPD and the people of the city, given that this is something we’ve certainly seen quite a bit of so far.

2. Some stability now with Frank. Now that he has re-upped his deal, there’s less of a cause for concern that he will cease to be commissioner.
