‘Girl Meets World’ season 3: Which early episode is Ben Savage directing?

Today may be a particularly rough one for many fans of “Girl Meets World” out there, given that this is the first week since the end of season 2, and to go along with that further, we don’t really have any indication as of yet as to when season 3 will premiere. We would guess later in the spring, but for now a guess is really all that is.

One thing that we can tell you at this particular moment is the next new episode in the season to feature Ben Savage as a director: “Girl Meets Triangle,” which is at least the fifth episode being produced this coming season. (Whether or not it is the fifth to air remains to be seen, since the show’s patterns for airing things out of order are at this point fairly well-documented.)

One of the things that we imagine has to appeal to Savage when it comes to this gig is that he gets the opportunity to flex a lot of different muscles. In addition to playing Cory Matthews on the show, he gets to go behind the camera every so often and help with the storytelling. The most recent season 2 episode he helmed was “Girl Meets the Bay Window,” an extraordinary story about change and growing up that we may argue is actually our favorite story of the entire series so far.
